An excellent
example of 3 facet Victorian conservatory. This has a glass roof,
but can also be supplied with polycarbonate. Ventilation is gained
by roof ventilators, this first area that warms up in a conservatory,
hot area rises, so by fitting roof ventilators in the roof you remove
this hot air and stay cool.
The windows
are top hung to give good ventilation, and are in keeping with the
house.
The conservatory
sits on a 600 mm high base wall in corresponding brickwork to the
property, with French doors opening out to the side onto a flagged
path leading to the gardens.
